Op shopping...is there any better past time? Rumaging around through junk is the best way to spend a day. There is always a treasure to find no matter what your taste and if you're like me and love anything old well it's just heaven.
                                                        This was one days loot
Doileys are my weakness, I have so many I will never use them all but they are just so pretty I can't resist.

I finally listed something new yesterday. On Wednesday I had a very creative day and made 10 pairs of earrings. I had forgotten though how long it takes to take and edit photos and then have to write the description. Three hours I worked at it yesterday and only one pair is listed. Oh well at least I finally did some work https://www.etsy.com/listing/152616105/wedding-earrings-gold-vintage-stylepink?ref=shop_home_active

Well this could get interesting. I have had to start a new blog and now have to learn my way around, I'm sure the first few posts will be a bit strange.
I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself here. I am a 40 something Mother of four wonderful children and Grandmother of three amazing boys and one perfect little girl. I have been married to Michael for 25 years-more than half my life. I am a sewer, jewellery maker, knitter, card maker an all round mess maker really but usually something interesting comes out of the mess. Lace, flowers, and doileys are my inspiration and my craft room is filled with beads, fabric, wool and laces-probably more than I will ever use. I am forever op-shopping and recycling is a big part of my creating. Giving new life to something that has been thrown away is a great feeling. I don't cut anything that is still perfect(which is why I have so much) but a doily with a tear or stain starts a new life because I made it into something else.
Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon with something exciting.
